Product Designer (contract)
é
Over five months I supported AKQA and Visa teams to shape and visualise product concepts powered by Visa’s capabilities, ranging from a consumer banking app to a B2B Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) idea and a Small Business portal. The work spanned discovery, UX/UI, motion and prototyping, with deliverables designed for pitch and stakeholder alignment.
Team: AKQA (art direction, strategy) · Visa Innovation Center (product/strategy)
Mobile Banking App (B2C · FR & NL pitch):
Scope: account overview, card controls, payments, P2P, spend insights.
What I did: mapped key flows, built a compact design system, and produced an animated pitch narrative + Flinto prototype to demo the core journeys.
Notes: designed with localisation in mind for French/Dutch markets and regulatory tone.
Mobility-as-a-Service (B2B concept)
Scope: how Visa could enable seamless mobility (discovery, journey planning, ticketing, payment).
What I did: service blueprint, partner touchpoints, and UI concepts (fare capping, universal wallet, receipts), plus motion to show the end-to-end flow in minutes.
Visa Small Business Portal (B2B/B2C)
Scope: onboarding, benefits, rewards, and self-serve tools for SMEs.
What I did: IA + page templates, component patterns for cards/tools, and content models to scale across segments and markets.
Pitch-ready storytelling: motion sequences and a tight animated deck to explain value fast.
Prototype to align: Flinto prototype for the mobile app; click-throughs for MaaS and SMB flows.
Systems first: a small, reusable UI kit (tokens, components, states) so teams could iterate quickly.
Close collaboration: day-to-day with AKQA art direction & strategy; Visa product/strategy stakeholders.
Clear narratives and prototypes that helped teams align on scope and feasibility.
Reusable components and flows that sped subsequent explorations and localised variants.
Stronger market storytelling for French/Dutch banking and MaaS partner conversations.
